MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been impacted by his global reach. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. He worked together with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in 2020 and the following year released his sophomore album the chart-topping Dopamina. Then in 2021 he sang a duet on TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, featuring the hit single La Bachata. Turizo came from a musical household both his parents are both musicians. According to Turizo, music was a fundamental element of his existence. As a child, he was instructed to perform on the guitar, piano and ukulele. The first goal was to be an vet but when his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons in singing with an Cuban singer, he changed goals for his future career.
